I make artwork for exhibitions and private collections. I also loan my work for exhibitions. Please contact me to discus my artefacts, commissioning work or loans.
My research skills include visual and object-based library research and digital research, interviews, adoption experiments and design probes in the form of artefacts created by me and accompanied by text and maybe visuals.
I restore paper and leather objects. I sometimes take restoration commissions. Send me images of your object(s) to discuss what I might me able to do.
I have over 6 years full-time teaching experience as an Assistant Professor of Textiles in the USA (Saint Mary’s College, IN; Kent State University, OH) and Canada (NSCAD University). I taught undergraduate printed textiles courses at all levels, as well as senior studio, and special topics courses such as Natural Dyes, Bio-inspired Artefacts and Sustainable Textiles. I also served on graduate committees mentoring graduate students in the MFA program, I designed and delivered courses, as well as a minor in Interdisciplinary Textiles (which involved the creation of five new textile courses). I am currently offering online consultancy on creative projects, tutorials and workshops.
I also give talks and interviews about my work, online, pre-recorded and/or in person.
