ENDANGERED CRAFT [2023]

Weaving using wool yarn dyed with acid dyes.

This textile object brings in the foreground the almost forgotten craft of hand woven rugs, that even though has been having a powerful way of enriching the surroundings but also the lives of those making and using them, has been slowly disappearing. The fragment woven is based on a memory I had about one of the many rugs my great-grandmother wove.
